TESTIMONIALS
⭐⭐⭐ Organisers who loved having Mildred at their event! ⭐⭐⭐
I asked Mildred to speak at my recent Trainer Talk Live event. I wanted someone who could end the 2 days with a bang - and I just knew that Mildred was that person, she is inspiration in a bottle! She did not disappoint!
Everyone in the room was blown away by her presence, her warm infectious energy, not to mention her in depth knowledge of Linked In. She gave us lots of really practical, actionable tips and maybe even converted some of those less enthusiastic about the benefits of the platform!
Someone said to me at the end ' Wasn't she great? I could listen to her all day!' which probably says it all. If you are thinking of hiring Mildred as a speaker ... there's no-one better!
"Your personal brand is how people remember you." Mildred shared this valuable insight - along with numerous other practical skills - with the women leaders of the Alliance Of Her Youth Academy.
Mildred helped the AOH participants see the benefit of using LinkedIn to tell their personal stories and create a constructive narrative.
In addition, Mildred inspired our AOH class to capitalize on the power of social media to engage with their communities. Mildred's presentation was fun and useful, and she invested the time afterward to follow up with individuals. I am looking forward to future collaborations with Mildred.
Mildred Talabi was a guest speaker at Solent University's 'Spotlight on Jobs and Employers' event.
I was impressed with Mildred's ability to connect to her audience and the positive approach she had to the session.
The audience were engaged and attentive and came away with some excellent advice and guidance.
Mildred also spoke on a panel about 'Starting Your Own Business' which again provided the students and graduates with relevant and practical advice based on her own experiences.
What an inspiration! I would recommend to colleagues to hear Mildred speak at events in the future.
What an inspirational woman!
Mildred attended our HR networking party last week as a much-anticipated guest speaker. Our members, many of whom are job-seekers, really appreciated her fun and practical words of wisdom, delivered in a way that they could relate to and take away to share with friends and colleagues.
We at Veran love Mildred's courage and enthusiasm in starting her own business and helping others with what can be a very difficult and emotional time in our lives. Job hunting can be a lonely and daunting challenge but Mildred gives reassurance and control back to her readers and was kind enough to give out 3 free copies of her books!
So grateful to have met her and introduced her to our HR community.
I am a careers consultant at the University of Salford. As a result of our connection on Twitter, I invited Mildred to be the keynote speaker at our careers and employability event for all University of Salford Postgraduates.
I would highly recommend Mildred as a speaker. She did her research in terms of the needs of the audience and set the right tone.
It was a pleasure to have Mildred be part of our event. I found her to be very personable, knowledgeable and engaging with great anecdotes of her own career trajectory and recruiter's perspective.
She really did capture the mood, held the attention of the audience, using humour effectively to get across her key messages, and was a great addition to our employer Q&A panel afterwards.
Mildred delivered a guest lecture to our undergrads on the realities of the job market & the benefits of social media to the job hunt.
Mildred wowed both students and careers staff alike with an engaging and informative talk that was just the right balance of motivating the students to take action regarding their future careers while also calming some of their nerves by showing the truth behind the headlines relating to the job market.
Mildred is a fantastic public speaker who knows her stuff!
I would recommend her to anyone!
Mildred' talk at the seminar organised by HindLeap was awesome!
She was very good at engaging the audience by asking them questions and allowing them to participate.
What was also really good was the fact that Mildred constantly made references to how she had applied the techniques she was speaking about in her life.
She is a passionate speaker and a great motivator.
Mildred is an engaging and effective trainer - she combines great charm with the strength needed to keep the attention of 60 young people in parallel.
She not only has trained as part of the Speakers Trust's Challenge programme, but has also lead part of Toastmasters Youth Leadership training team in Toastmasters UK, training other people to deliver that programme.
Thank you Mildred for your guest speech at our myHRCareers summer party last night - YOU WERE AMAZING!
Our members and clients just loved you, your energy, your wit, your charm and luckily for your next book, your incredible insights and advice. Your comment ‘it takes a village to find a job’ was particularly popular on the tweet stream and the whole room was truly engaged.
From all of us here at myHRcareers, thank you for giving such an inspiring talk and really reinforcing our core messages.
